INSTALLING GUBBY -- Executive Summary

  On most systems (Linux/SVR4, etc): 
	$ make all install

  On BSD systems:
	$ gmake all install

  If you have an old STL library and get errors with
  sstream, try:

	$ COPTS=-DUSE_STRSTREAM make all install
